The Best of Both

I have found myself in a real dilemma these past few weeks. For some it is not a big deal. Of course other more earth shattering events can occur, but it has been a bit of a conundrum in my home.

You see Biggest Loser is coming on at the same time as American Idol. I'm torn between the two. How does one chose? I have to root for Tara and Simone and Filipe. After all they started their journey first. Or at least the network aired their journey first. So I've missed a lot of AI. It's been heart breaking. I feel as though I've missed an entire season, and they are only into Hollywood week.

BUT today I learned that our local FLN channel re-airs the Biggest Loser on Sunday nights! YEA!!! No more tough choices. This one is easy. Watch AI on Tuesday and then switch over to BL on Sunday. What genius. I'm thrilled. I won't miss any. After all there are so many truly pressing things that are going on in my life that if this one silly little thing can resolve itself I can enjoy just a few moments of TV time. How lucky am I!

On a Side Note: I have been tagged by Tracy. You are supposed to choose the sixth folder in your photo folder, open it, and post the sixth photo in that folder. It has taken me a while to get to her challenge. Mainly because I wanted to find a way to watermark my sixth photo once I posted it. This is one of my favorite pictures. I never leave home without my camera and this one night the boys walked to the water just as the sun was setting. I got the shot. It broke my heart though, because it was the end of their summer vacation. And the picture made me think of their lives. How they will always be making the last memory of--fill in the blank. I love my boys and never tire of looking at this picture. I am supposed to tag six other people, but seeing as how my blog role is limited I will simply open it up to whoever wants to play. And if you do, please leave me a comment and let me know.

Elaine ... I love that picture of the boys.

I'm glad your Biggest Loser/American Idol saga had a happy ending. Whew!!! :)

I kind of played along ... I selected more than one picture though. I liked the idea of this "tag". Thanks for passing it on to us.

YEA! I am glad you decided to play. I never tire of photo challenges. I love looking through my pictures. It irratates the boys though. They have their entire lives chronicled.

I'll definitely be by your place to check out your photos! Thanks for playing.

I didn't watch AI at all last season...I needed a break! Actually I've missed several seasons now that I think of it. If you don't get started at the beginning you can get by without knowing what you're missing. But once I'm hooked.....

We don't have TIVO or cable, so we find ourselves flipping back and forth between shows when there is a conflict. I've seen commercials for Hulu (online) and that might be a solution to being able to see your shows.

And then I saw that a new season of Survivor started! I love that show but I may have to give this one a miss also. Blogging has taken over my TV time, sadly.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
